MISSION STATEMENT
Ismaili Troop 797, part of the Scouting of America and is dedicated to molding young men into leaders of their communities. The troop emphasizes academic excellence, character development, and the importance of strong moral and ethical values.
The mission of the Scouting of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Scout Oath is:
“On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.”
The Scout Law states:
“A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.”
Ismaili Troop 797 aims to provide a scouting program focused on youth development, leadership, and nurturing the moral and ethical fiber of its members. The program creates a fun yet educational environment where scouts, leaders, and parents collaborate to instill the basic principles of Islam through various activities and skills designed by the Scouting of America and the Aga Khan Youth and Sports Board, USA.

VISION STATEMENT
Ismaili Troop 797, part of Scouts of America, envisions developing young leaders who embody the values of service, integrity, and resilience. Rooted in the Ismaili Muslim tradition of ethics and community service, our troop fosters personal growth, leadership, and teamwork through the principles of scouting.
We strive to empower our scouts with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make a positive impact in their communities while upholding the Scout Oath and Law. Through adventure, service projects, and leadership development, we aim to build a generation of compassionate and capable individuals dedicated to lifelong learning, unity, and service to humanity.
